AI Can Edit and Delete Pages
With write access, AI can create, edit, and delete Confluence pages. A misconfigured automation can overwrite documentation, insert incorrect information, or delete critical knowledge base articles.
Page History Exposes Deleted Content
Confluence page versions preserve every edit, including content that was intentionally deleted. Removed salary figures, draft strategies, and retracted statements remain accessible through the version history API.
